1. Where can I buy tour tickets? All our tickets are available for purchase at; This website, Dublin Bus Head Office, 59 Upper O’Connell Street, Dublin 1, Travel Information Desk, Arrivals Hall, Terminal 1, Dublin Airport, On-Board all Dublin Bus Tours, Your Hotel / Guesthouse – Ask the Front Office / Concierge for the Dublin Bus Tour Tickets.
2.  How can I pay for my ticket online?

You can pay for your ticket using any of the following credit cards:

  • MasterCard
  • Laser Card
3.  Where can I join the tour?

The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour begins on Cathal Brugha Street, just off O'Connell Street. The Docklands Tour begins at the Dublin Bus Head Office, 59 Upper O’Connell Street. The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour can be joined at any of the stops along the Original and Docklands Route. Both the Malahide Castle & Howth Tour, and the Glendalough & Powerscourt Gardens Tour, can be joined at the Dublin Bus Head Office. The Ghostbus Tour and 1916 tour start at the Dublin Bus Head Office also.


4.  How will I know where to get off the bus?

Your tour guide will point out all of the sights and stops and give you instructions how and where to get on and off the bus.


5.  What time are your first and last Dublin Bus Tour buses?

The first Hop-On Hop-Off Tour starts at 9am. Last bus times vary depending on the season. From April, tour buses operate until 7pm, and from October – March, tour buses operate until 5pm.



6.  Do you offer a hotel pick-up service?

Yes we provide a free pick up service for guests taking our Sightseeing Tours. Click

7.  Does my tour ticket include entrance to any of the attractions?

Exclusive Meal Deals are available with your tour ticket in Platform 61, South William Street and Murrays Bar & Grill, O'Connell Street.

Discounts on food & drink are available at Fitzgerald’s Pub, Aston Quay.

With every Hop-On Hop-Off Tour ticket, customers can avail of free entry into The Little Museum of Dublin, and a free walking tour by Pat Liddy Walking Tours. Special offers are available for Dublin Bus Tour customers in the Guinness Storehouse, Teelings Whiskey Distillery, Irish Whiskey Museum, EPIC Ireland, Dublin City Hall, Dublinia and the Celtic Whiskey Shop.

With every Dublin Bus Tour purchased, customers can save €5 off any additional Dublin Bus Tour purchased.


8.  What age qualifies for a Child ticket?

Two kids go free with every adult on the tour. Additional kids must buy a ticket. A kids ticket is for children aged 6 -14.


9.  Can children travel by themselves?

No, children must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.


10.  Are your tours suitable for wheelchair users?

We are able to take folding wheelchairs only on our Dublin Bus Tour and GhostBus buses. We do ask that you are able to climb the stairs on and off the bus with the aid of your helper or our driver can also assist.

On the Coastal Tours all our buses are wheelchair accessible, however please note Malahide Castle is not accessible by wheelchair.

13.  How do I get to Dublin Bus from Dublin Airport?

Our Airlink service is an Express Service from Dublin Airport which will bring you direct to Dublin City Centre (Dublin Bus HQ , 59 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1) . An Airlink departs every 10 minutes at Peak Times. A number of our regular commuter services also serve the city centre including the 41 and 16A.

We will make every effort to get your lost property back to you.


19.  What age qualifies for the senior citizen discount?

If you hold a valid senior citizen identification card from your own country or are over the age of 65, you will qualify for the senior citizen rate.


20.  How many languages does your multilingual tour offer?

Approximately every 30 minutes from 9.15am each morning..
